Designing human-centered solutions to create meaningful impact for Angelenos experiencing homelessness.
Problem:
An estimated 58,900 individuals are experiencing homelessness in LA County. In an already difficult environment, these individuals experience even more hurdles due to a fragmented homelessness service ecosystem created by disjointed communication and tracking systems.
Solution:
Start Here, a concept prompted by LA County’s Technology Innovation Challenge, was developed with the goal of advancing the efforts of local government by encouraging innovation, creativity and sustainable solutions that will have the most impact on the homeless services delivery system.
